Academy of The Pacific Faculty

Progressive & Passionate

Learning thrives at Academy of the Pacific because of the commitment and creativity of our faculty and staff.

Academy of the Pacific is administered by the Head of School with assistance from the Assistant Head of School. Together, they work with the faculty to develop a well-rounded course of study and stimulating programs that encourage the academic progress and social well-being of each individual student.

Our instructors are selected not only for their academic qualifications, but for their vitality and positive approach to teaching. Like the student body, faculty members come from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and bring tremendous experience and diversity to the classroom. Each teacher is passionate and professional, and is committed to meeting the unique needs of each child in the classroom. They all hold an undergraduate degree in the major subjects they teach, and most have completed graduate work in a specialized area of education, or in their subject area. Above all, these men and women are genuinely concerned about each student, and about finding new ways to inspire individual learning. Moreover, each teacher is committed to helping all who attend AOP to become contributing members of society.

The counseling program is coordinated by the Head of School and the Assistant Head of School, who is in close contact with community agencies that serve the needs of adolescents and their families. Our goal is to find solutions that best address the physical, emotional, and intellectual issues affecting the success of your child's education.
