Biography:

PRESTON MAGINIS, English and Reading Laboratory Teacher. B.A., English, University of San Francisco, CA. Completed classes in education at San Francisco State while working as a tutor for "at risk" students in the San Francisco public schools for two years. Has taught English in Japan for one year. Has been teaching English at AOP for 14 years and is an AOP alum, class of '81. His hobbies include surfing, mountain biking, and collecting/trading rare jazz and rock recordings. He and his wonderful wife, Takako, live on Tantalus.
