What does the Assistant Head of School's office do? Responsible for many of the non-class aspects of the AOP experience, the Assistant Head of School's office is usually the first stop for most parents who have questions or concerns that are not directly related to a specific class.  The Assistant Head of School is responsible for the overall personal and intellectual well-being of students.  Thus the Assistant Head of School's office serves as a central point of contact for parents who have general concerns - including academic concerns - which may affect a student in or out of class, and/or which may involve multiple classes.  The Assistant Head of School's office is usually the first stop for parents who have questions or concerns not directly related to a specific class.  For course content or homework questions, parents are urged to contact teachers directly via email.

Additionally, as Senior Class Advisor, the Assistant Head of School also has the primary responsibility for college counseling at AOP.  Please see the "College Counseling" page for more information and resources to use during the college search.
